Elegant Wedding Inspiration at Baylor University’s McLane Stadium and Baylor Club

Jennifer Vera of Action Rentals was asked to design a styled shoot for the Baylor Club at Baylor University's McLane Stadium, and we were all excited and honored to be the first official non-sporting event to be photographed on the field. The ballroom at the Baylor Club is a true thing of beauty for any couple who are Baylor Fans! The color palette is an elegant version of the University's green and gold. Jennifer picked two gowns from Georgio's Bridal, and the vendor line up is truly a Who's Who in Central Texas!

Sunset Cliffside Styled Shoot

For this bridal session, our aim is high fashion, with a destination feel. The location is a unique rocky landscape at a beach, located within Whytecliff Park, in West Vancouver, BC, and is perfect for our concept.

We used soft bridal colors, like pastel pink and white, with darker colors like purple and black, to produce a more dramatic and fashion theme. The pastry, invitation, and floral designers worked together to make our concept come to life.

The wedding gowns were provided by Clara Couture Bridal. One model was wearing a stunning designer mermaid gown, with an asymmetrical sweetheart neckline, and ruffled skirt; the other gown is from the new 2015 Pronovias collection, which showcases a beautiful low-cut semi-sheer back, with mother of pearl gemstone embroidery. The soft pink and the black sequins evening gowns were used create a contrast between the soft destination look, and the modern glamour style.

Casual Florida Vintage Inspired Engagement Session

Album story by Thirteenth Moon Photography LLC

Ryan and Nathalie met while Ryan was working in Florida as a missionary for the Mormon Church. They fell in love and really the rest is history. They are both completing school this year in Utah and plan to wed this December at the Orlando, Florida Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The couple had flown into town for Ryan to meet Nathalie’s family before their wedding in December and to have their engagement photos taken. Nathalie had her heart set on a vintage style shoot with lots of glowy sunset photos…but of course the afternoon was nothing but overcast and rainy. Right as the session was wrapping up the sun came out and afforded us the chance for a few incredible images to go along with Nathalie’s goal of glowy romantic photos!

Vintage inspired

Album story by Cassie Peech & Company

I wanted to create a vintage theme so I started going to estate sales and vintage shops looking for real vintage gowns, and dresses. I found the perfect gown at a local estate sale, it even came with a photo of the bride from 1930’s time period. It was in mint condition. I found the “bridesmaids” dresses at goodwill.

My friends in the industry wanted to join in and help. Ali Lee a local makeup artist was in charge of the hair/makeup. I hand made the head pieces and used antique brooches. Carlos Velez helped with hair and makeup on the day, along with styling. Our models were amazing!

Dana & Richard’s Southern Inspired South Florida Engagement Session

Album story by Lovely Bee Photography

Dana & Richard are a perfect match – from the way he makes her belly laugh to the way she makes him smile! He proposed at their favorite Country Western hang out, so it seemed oh so appropriate to incorporate that into our Engagement Session. Equipped with Cowboy Boots and a 10 Gallon Hat, we chased the sunset and captured some beautiful moments for these two to love forever.

NAVY SEERSUCKER – BRIGHT FUCHSIA ACCENTS – BEST OF ALL, A RAW OYSTER BAR!! Inspired by the lakefront and Austin’s boating culture, this chic and casual shoot featured navy seersucker fabrics, bright fuchsia accents, and best of all, a raw oyster bar! Navy blue seersucker fabric decorated every piece of paper from the save the dates to the belly button band on the invitations. Each bouquet was wrapped in a monogrammed seersucker fabric and a pop of bright pink ribbon. Lanterns filled with flowers hung from the trees at the ceremony site and a beautiful garland was draped to block off the aisle way of the ceremony. We showcased a floral monogram using rose petals at the front of the aisle. The head table was full of lush fuchsia florals and hanging globes, embellished by candle lit and gold accents. To enhance a more casual feel, we added a hammock next to a hanging floral arrangement using a captain’s wheel, which was infused with fuchsia florals. In the dining room were large windows ornamented with hanging butterflies so that the lake scenery was incorporated into this setting. Fruitwood farm tables were under our white, blue, and pink cake in the center, surrounded by petaphors held by white cake stands. An alcohol tray anchored the clear polka dotted wine glasses and wine, which was wrapped in seersucker cloth. We used the same table layout to display our red and white striped marshmallow party favors on top of monogrammed seersucker napkins. One of the biggest highlights of the wedding was the delicious raw oyster bar, which was such a clever way to deliver our theme. The blue and pink handmade escort cards were fan folded with names on the top, & a white wire boat was used to hold the gifts brought by guests, which we felt was the perfect touch of nautical to add to our Hamptons themed wedding at Bella Varenna, a new lakefront venue in Austin, TX.

Vibrant Chartreuse and Imperial Wedding

Sometimes an unexpected palette is JUST what the doctor ordered. They say a beautiful wedding is all in the details, and when it comes to this gorgeous wedding decor, pops of color can have a big impact. By foregoing the traditional soft color combo that using the color white entail, Amazingly Creative Events crafted a dazzling décor in chartreuse green and imperial purple that was perfect for this vivacious couple Brenda and Shaka. Who knows, chartreuse green just might be the new pop color for summer décor. The Intercontinental Hotel in Tampa, Florida became an amazing venue for the unique details of this epic wedding.

We’ve been noticing a trend for bold elegant wedding decor of late, and while we still love the opulence of a vintage wedding, or the patterns and colors of a classical bash, there is something so elegant about fresh white linens paired with bold pops of color, and simple but colorful flowers.

Baseball Wedding Styled Photo Shoot

“Take me out to the ball game” is a phrase that has been a part of my life for many years! I love the idea of creating a dream wedding at a stadium filled with all the elements of baseball and a wedding…at the same time! We had the privilege of doing this photo shoot at the Tennessee Smokies Stadium with the blessing of General Manager Brian Cox.

Imagine having your wedding ceremony on the field and the scoreboard lit up just for you! These are some of the fun picture elements that can be incorporated; Home Plate…The Dugout… The Pitchers Mound!

Following the ceremony, your First Dance takes place on top of the Dugout! After pictures, the chance to watch the game and to grab some kettle corn & rock candy appetizers with your friends in the stands is too much fun!

The casual Reception is a time for the Bride & Groom to change into their fun clothes! The guests casually eat as they socialize and watch their favorite team!! “Take me out to the crowd.”

The menu is ballpark food with a twist served at one of the concession stands:

Pigs in a Pretzel;
Kettle Corn & Rock Candy bags

“Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jacks,”

Turkey Sliders with Mango Chipotle Aioli and Power Greens
Cilantro Slaw
Fresh Summer Fruit
Crudités Cups

“I don't care if I ever get back..”

The sweets and favors are served on another piece of the ballpark displays and include:

RC Cola & Moon Pies
Baby Ruth's & Cracker Jacks

“For its root, root, root for the home team; if they don't win it's a shame..”

Carrot Cake and Chocolate Cupcakes with White Chocolate Buttercream Frosting!

When it's time for the Bride and Groom to depart they leave under the player lifted baseball bats in classic baseball fashion!

What a great day at the ballpark!!

“and it's 1-2-3 strikes you're out at the Ol' Ballgame!”
