Wedding Date: Sept 20, 2003

What I love most about my husband is that he balances me out. He is the risk taker and I am not. He teaches me how to let go and live a little 😉

Favorite part of the wedding? Seeing all my family and friends who came out to support us. And the menu. Great food!

Where did you and your husband meet?

We were actually set up for a blind date and our first conversation lasted for hours- until 3am. We are both huge sports fans, so our first date was at a Twisted Taco. Natalie was shy, so didn’t make any eye contact and she claims it was because her fantasy football quarterback was playing. Needless to say, the both of us have co-managed a team every season since!

What was your favorite part of your wedding?

Hands down, the food. We are both native to Atlanta, so it was important to us to incorporate that history via cuisine that matched the antebellum house where we were married. We had a biscuit bar with buttermilk and sweet potato biscuits, gravy, fried chicken, different flavored butters and jellies, bacon, and sausage. We weren’t allowed to eat gravy in our dress and tuxedo, but you can bet we packed it in the carry-on for our early morning honeymoon flight the next day!

the way she makes me feel and completes me.

What was your favorite part of your wedding?

What do you love most about your husband?

His sense of humor. He always has me laughing and his caring/sensitive heart. He’ll give me a kiss or a hug when I most need it and will do nice things like paying for someone else’s meal. I just love him. Don’t tell him I said that.

What was your favorite part of your wedding?

Wedding-Man, there were so many awesome moments, but I’d have to say when we lit the unity candle and took a moment to pray together. Just the 2 of us. Nobody knew what we prayed about or what was going on at that moment. It was just our little moment.

Reception-We had a rocking reception. Our DJ was the best! There were 2 things that I absolutely enjoyed equally. 1, our 1st dance. We choreographed it and it went off flawlessly. So much fun! 2, when we cut the cake. We had discussed the whole smashing cake into each other’s faces and thought, “Why would anyone do that? What a mean way to start a marriage.” So, being the devious pranksters that we are, we decided to set up our maid of honor (my sister) and best man (his cousin). It was the best prank ever!

What do you love most about your husband?

I love his sense of humor and his smarts 😉 He also is a wonderful father and that has made me love him even more the past 10 months since our son has been born.

What was your favorite part of the wedding?

I loved the ceremony because my youth minster married us, however when we prayed at the unity candle Brian made me laugh and smile. He truly has my heart.

Oh and a shout out to Sweet Elegance Bridal for the dress!
