This spring it will rain a lot in Atlanta, I mean- A LOT! So often people wonder if it’s good luck or bad luck if it rains on your wedding day. It tends to look like a disaster. Everyone getting wet. The Bride’s gown getting wet. The programs are wet and the ink is smearing. Everyone worries about it raining on their big day! You check the weather on your smart phone or the TV. Since your wedding should be one of the happiest days of your life it’s perfectly normal to hope for the perfect day!
Keep in mind, when it rain, crops flourish. It marks a new beginning. So if it rains on your big day, see it as a sign of good luck!
Have you ever tried to untie a wet knot? It’s harder to untie than a dry knot. Catchy, right?
In Italian, they have a saying.
A wet Bride = A lucky Bride!
Then there’s the blessing. All weddings are blessed and it’s known that rain brings blessings. For those getting married, it is a new beginning as they embark on their new life together.
The excitement of being engaged. The pre-wedding parties. The bridal showers. Looking at countless wedding magazines. Planning, shopping for that perfect gown. You’ve booked a photographer and you think you have it all taken care of. You would be surprised at how many wedding details have been overlooked…
To friends and family of the Bride-to-be… Surprise your Bride-to-be with a gift certificate of spa treatment. It doesn’t have to be far away getaway. There are many spa services in the Atlanta Area. A spa is meant to offer harmony of the mind and the body. Planning for a wedding is a stressful event…
So often we are asked why hire a wedding photographer since family members and friends with a great camera will be taking pictures of the wedding. We asked our award winning associate photographers Eric & Michael and they answered this.
Think about it. The man of your dreams has proposed and you said yes. Now you have to plan your wedding and you spend a lot of time finding just the right venue, that beautiful dress that you have dreamed of all your life, the flowers that go perfectly with everything, the cake, the caterer, guest list, and so much more.
Finally, that special day arrives… the excitement, the happiness, loved ones to share everything on this special day. Once everything is over, the food is gone, the cake has been eaten, the flowers are wilted, that beautiful dress is hung in a closet, the formal wear is returned to the rental shop. Everyone has gone home back to their lives.
Congratulations to Celeste & Chris and Dana & Marty. They were the winners of Eric & Michael Photography sweepstakes. We’re including them in our article announcing them as the winners.
