Amanda & Kolton exchanged their vows on the historic Marriage Island located on the Riverwalk in downtown San Antonio, Texas. Home to the very first Catholic mass in San Antonio in 1961, Marriage Island has been a magical location used for weddings and proposals for over 100 years. Truly a location with a history of love, saying “I Do” in that spot is supposed to bring good luck to the couple. Before their evening ceremony, we had so much fun photographing up and down the Riverwalk with the entire bridal party. A wedding in downtown San Antonio also meant being able to utilize one of the buildings that the city is most famous for, The Alamo. Shooting this wedding in December only added to the beauty as the city of San Antonio really goes all out when decorating for the holidays. The entire day was gorgeous and full of love and is definitely a wedding we’ll never forget!
